Sort of late post, but whatever, my pseudo-cousin used my laptop the whole day yesterday. LOL
Last 11/27/10 I celebrated my twenty-first birthday! YEAH! :D It was my dad’s birthday too, so double yay! We had a birthday dinner, and I invited some of my friends over to our house - specifically two high school friends, a college classmate of my high school friend, two of my best friends, my BF (that means “bullfrog”, don’t get confused, LOL besides she’s a girl), a choir mate, my brother’s friend, an classmate in grade school whom I’ve sort of reunited with (LOOOOL) and his two friends, and my pseudo-cousin (LOL, I call him “pseudo” because our relations are very far down the family tree already). And of course my relatives. Oh, and an elementary friend also stopped by to give me gift but she didn’t stay long. Anyway, so, yeah, it was pretty packed in our small and humble abode. LOL xD We ate dinner, sang songs, and drank tequila and beer. Yes, my parents know that I drink. It’s not a secret in the family. Heck, even my dad drank with us, while my aunt was the gunner! Haha :D Here are some pics of the night:
My bf, high school friends and college schoolmate, and best friend.
My pseudo-cousin, big brother, choirmate, and big brother’s friend (boyfriend of a friend of mine that couldn’t be here).
My old classmate and two of his friends. That one in the middle celebrated his birthday the next day!
Our (cup)cake! Yep, my dad is 49 years old.
Awesome night, indeed. We finished at around 4AM because we ran out of drinks, HAHAHA xD My friends in the first picture went home earlier, though, so those in the second and third pics (plus my aunt and dad) were my drinking buddies who went home at 4AM. LOL My pseudo-cousin slept here though. So, yeah.
Anyway, on 11/28/10, my extended family arrived. We ate the leftover food, and sang some more! Haha :D All in all my weekend was supermegafoxyawesomehot. A great feat, considering I had the weirdest week ever. LOL
I can’t believe I just turned 21. I feel like nothing’s changed, though. But I know it has changed. Oh well. Let’s just wait for it to happen, haha
Thank you to all those who greeted me a happy birthday, for those who came to my birthday dinner, and for my gifts! I love you all. :D
No words can express how grateful I am for my 21 years of existence, and the blessings that came with it. To my family, friends, relatives, batchmates, choirmates, schoolmates, loved ones, everyday madlang people, and most especially to the Almighty Father, Lord Jesus and Mama Mary: THANK YOU. Just, THANK YOU. xoxo ♥

IDEK know why I read all her posts. Okay, so maybe I was a bit curious. She seems so…IDK. UGH. She’s close-minded, discriminates, curses a lot, and so full of herself. And she’s only 15! UGH. I think she’s sort of new to Tumblr but a lot of people were already send hate and whatnot because of her ‘tude, but her responses were so weird IDK. At some point her posts made me laugh. But after reading all 9 pages of her blog, I am disappointed. Is that the new generation now? I really hope not. I know a lot of pre-adolescents and adolescents to know that there is still hope for the world. I’m just disappointed that some are, just, well, a disappointment - and they aren’t scared to hide that either. Also her blog kind of made me…diagnose her. OMG LOL! xD But no, seriously, it made me think that she has a personality disorder called Histrionic Personality. Basically it’s wherein the person always seeks for attention, whether good or bad, and thrives in it. And she really does. I guess my only advice for people like that is, do not add fuel to the fire. In short, just ignore her. Do not give her the satisfaction of getting what she wants, which is attention.
Okay, so I just needed to get that off my chest, because some of her posts and answers (most especially to the hate) really bothered me. And she’s still so young. I’m not going to post her URL (mainly because I forgot what it is already, LOL) but if you’re curious then I guess I can leave it on your ask. I don’t want to get mixed up in the mess, and I also don’t want her to know that I’m sort of giving her attention, too. And besides, this could be applied generally (in the sense) to people like her, too. So. Yeah.
That is all.
P.S. No matter how many times my mom and I argue and disappoint each other, I can never EVER wish she was aborted by her mother. That’s just wrong. Seriously. How. Dare. You.
Today (11/25/10), my friends and I attended a seminar about HIV and its prevention, organized by the Philippine Nurses’ Association Cebu Chapter and held at the Cebu City Health auditorium. But before that, we ate lunch at KFC, and for some reason I was very thirsty! So I bought 2 glasses of Mountain Dew, LOL Anyway. We arrived at the venue about 10 minutes before 1PM, and I was surprised to see quite a handful of my batchmates! We occupied about 4 rows at the back, I think that makes us 20, more or less. Then when the seminar started, we were all taking notes (since they gave us paper and a pen). It kinda felt like going to school again, haha :)
Anyway, firstly, our speaker showed us the current stats of HIV cases in the Philippines, especially in Cebu, how they got the numbers, et cetera. Then she discussed about HIV in general, the signs and symptoms, how to prevent it, and treatment. It was very informative. Although, halfway through the seminar my friend stopped taking down notes, and I doodled a bit. Here’s my paper:
IDK if you can see it, but I doodled: the Deathly Hallows sign (lower left), a coffee cup (lower right) for my friend because she wrote “I NEED COFFEE” on hers, a banana-looking condom - picture Bananas in Pyjamas without the pyjamas - pointing at some bacteria/virus/whatever they looked like blue pygmy puffs (below the butterfly), the word “abstinence” (above the butterfly), and "Where do we go from here?" (above the Caduceus sign). I was bored, LOL I’m sorry. Anyway, after the lecture, they were giving out snacks, wherein my friend miraculously felt alive. LOL xD I gave her my cupcake but I drank my orange juice because I was thirsty again. UGH.
After the seminar, we went to SM to lounge around a bit before actually going home. We took pictures by the Christmas trees in North Wing (I dun own the cam, so no pics for me), then me and one of my friends bought taro ice from Quickly - an iced drink which isn’t really a smoothie or shake or whatever, but sort of like that. I really dunno what it’s called. LOL whatever, it’s one of my favorite drinks. :D And then I was reminded that that was my fourth drink for that afternoon, and I haven’t gone to the bathroom even once yer. WOW. I must be really dehydrated. Anyway, 10 past 5PM, same friend who bought Quickly and I made our way to Ayala where I was supposed to get my dress and pay my friend since she paid for my entrance fee for the seminar. Unfortunately, the girl whom I bought the dress from forgot to bring it, so I’m getting the dress next week. Too bad, really. But whatever. Haha xD Then my dad fetched me and now I’m home.
It was a so-so day. Educational and whatnot, and at least I got to go out. Haha. Seeing as I’m currently unemployed (aside by my mom, though I’m not paid to do chores, LOL) I get less time out. Mostly ‘cause I live far and it’s costly and I’m broke. But I hope I get money as a birthday gift and - OMG it’s two more days. WAAA.
